Experience the thrill of climbing while learning the fundamentals of outdoor rock climbing. Curriculum includes an overview of climbing gear, necessary knots, belay skills, and basic movement techniques. Scouts will climb a variety of routes, rappel, and receive individual instruction. The full day of climbing is geared for the first-time outdoor rock climber or anyone who needs a review of the basic skills.  More advanced climbers will be challenged to utilize their skill sets and advance in their form and techniques.

HighPoint Expedition guides are so psyched to get your troop into the sport of outdoor climbing.

Climbing is mentally and physically challenging and brings a huge dose of fun adventure.  Rock climbing is one of the fastest growing sports in the country.  Come try it out with us!

Gear, including harnesses and shoes are available.  Please indicate needs on the registration form.

Clinic price includes guided instruction for up to 6 youth climbers. Additional climbers may easily be added. Inquire further about large groups of 50+. We can accommodate!

Maximum group size of 10 climbers per instructor for safety and attention needs. (Multiple instructors available per day.)

We welcome parents to come watch, take pictures and ‘learn the ropes’ of outdoor climbing experiences.
